‘Gated Neighborhoods’ in Baghdad: update

Update on the post the other day on building walls around neighborhoods in Baghdad:

Yesterday Iraqi Prime Minister al-Maliki ordered a halt to the building.

Today the U.S. Ambassador said that they would “respect the wishes of the government and the prime minister.” How nice of them.  But it seems there might be plans to do them nonetheless, according to this article.
