What are you doing to end the war?

The past two weeks have seen both the House and the Senate pass another $100 Billion in ’emergency’ supplemental funding to continue the occupation of Iraq and Afghanistan, a Congress elected to end the war effectively buying the war for another year. We are past the point of symbolic gestures of ‘goals’ rather than real steps to end the war that has gone on too long already.

But in the last few weeks you all have had hundreds of actions, events and demonstrations to show your opposition to the war in your community, joining hundreds of thousands of others around the country in working to end the war.

Let’s keep the pressure up!

This war will take each of us working every day to end it. Which sounds daunting, but everyone doing a little bit each day builds momentum – a single raindrop doesn’t make a much of a difference, but a lot of them together can make a flood – to build and show our demands to end the war. Arms Against War has an awesome, and simple, idea to show your opposition each day; wear a white armband for peace to connect with others who are against the war and start discussion when people ask what the armband is for.

What are your ideas for how we can end the war, from daily actions in our community to the youth movement at large? Share them.

Post pictures of your pictures of events and start discussions in our Facebook group.

Our actions each day will end this. What have you done to end the war today?

To help end the war, i made a anti-war music video, a few months ago, and have had it banned on Youtube, after getting over 60,000 views. Also, no one seems to show any interest in it at all, but people mainly want to criticize it for being unprofessional. i don’t get it.
but you can get to it now on google, maybe, before it’s banned there….click here>
