Healing the wounded

The Army Surgeon General stepped down today, the 3rd top official to go down after the poor care and treatment of vets at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in DC. You’d almost think they were sincere for continuing ‘support for our troops’ as they make the transition home as vets, especially the wounded. Until you find out that they’re redeploying seriously wounded and permanently disabled vets back to Iraq, despite their medical records, to have enough bodies to accomplish the ‘surge.’

Then you realize, if you haven’t already, that it’s a propaganda machine to silence opposition.

We invaded Iraq 3 years and 51 weeks ago, we have no regard for Iraqi life or sovereignty, nor do we have any respect for the people sent to fight in this illegal war and occupation.

What are you going to do to stop the war today? Tomorrow? Next week? Need ideas?
How many more have to die for a lie?
